Practical teaching of the mechatronics subject
Abstract
This study examines the complexity and multidisciplinary nature of mechatronics training at the Ganz Ábrahám Technikum of the Zalaegerszeg Vocational Training Centre. As an integrated discipline, mechatronics has emerged from the interweaving of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and information technology. The aim of the study is to present the mechatronics education in the technicum, with special emphasis on practical education and applied technologies. The paper reviews CNC positioning systems and position encoders, which play a critical role in modern manufacturing technology. In addition, it presents the Lucas Nulle test bench, which provides an in-depth understanding of the operation and characteristics of electric motors. The study concludes that the training not only imparts technical knowledge but also develops students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
