Analysis of size and surface properties of injection molded parts

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse the dimensional and surface properties of the injection molded gear in order to gain a better understanding of the quality characteristics of these parts. During the test, the size and surface roughness parameters of the injection-molded gear were analysed. Dimensional accuracy and surface texture are crucial for injection molded products as they directly affect the functional properties and aesthetics of the parts. The results are suitable for comparison with 3D printed parts, which will be included in a subsequent article.
